Founded in “1974” as the “Connecticut Puppetry Fellowship” and then chartered by the Puppeteers of America in 1975, The Connecticut Guild of Puppetry has maintained a mission of providing a meeting place and forum where people with an interest and love of the art form may share knowledge, ideas, trends, and creative endeavors. It has been the intent of the Guild to encourage the raising of standards of the art of puppetry: to foster awareness in the general public of the magic, wonder, and power of the puppet: and to encourage the use of puppetry as an educational tool.

The following is a listing of events hosted or sponsored by Guild over it’s historic run of over 50 years. Please note, the “Guild Year” runs from June 1st to May 31st and as such all events are broken up accordingly. Equally, some of the resources used to generate this list are missing and incomplete. We have created the most accurate listing possible for you from these resources and are working to find more information as we can. Thank you.
